Fundraising Ideas
Here are some quick and easy FUNdraising ideas to inspire you!
Art Auction: Children love to draw and paint, so perhaps hold an auction of children’s artwork on canvas or in frames, selling the one-of-a-kind creations to parents, relatives and friends.
Raffle or Silent Auction: Ask for prizes to be donated from employees, area businesses, sup
pliers, partners and parents. Set up a silent auction that runs over the course of a day or even a week, or sell raffle tickets.
Host a Carnival or Fete: Host a mini-carnival or fete, with games, prizes and stalls, in your
nursery, school, workplace or local community and charge admission and/or a small fee to play games.
Gala Dinner/ Lunch Party: Prepare and host a delicious meal and charge a fee.
Cake Sale / Auction: Invite people to show off their baking skills! Hold a Bake Off and auction the cakes, or sell slices of each cake for a fee and participants choose a winner.
Plant Sale: Organise a plant sale with plants grown by children, or donated by local garden centres.
Book Sale: Ask people to donate their old books, and host a book sale. If there are leftovers, you could recycle them for cash with a recycling company, or give them to a needy library, refuge, or hospital.
Miniature Golf: Build a nine-hole miniature golf course at your school, nursery or workplace featuring ramps, water and sand traps, and other obstacles and charge people to play a round during lunch.
Recipe Book: Gather favourite recipes and put them together in a book to sell. Try to get the printing costs donated by a local printer.
Dress Up Days: Pajamas, book characters, superheros, colours – staff and children pay a donation to dress up for the day.
Recycling: Organise a recycling drive through our Recycle for Good programme. Ask staff and families to bring in unwanted clothing and textiles to be recycled, and organise collection and payment from a recycling company. We provide you with everything you need. Walk On: Organise a sponsored walk, toddle, run, hike or trike in your nursery, school, workplace or local community. Participants can be sponsored or pay a small fee to take part. We provide you with everything you need to get started and have a dedicated Walk On Just Giving page. Click here for more information.
Calendar Sale: Create calendars and sell them to families.
Lemonade stand: Make lemonade, post signs, and sell it on a hot day.
