About Us

Bright Horizons Foundation for Children is a registered charity focused on brightening the lives of children and families experiencing crisis and disadvantage.

Established in the UK in 2005 our purpose is to make a difference in the lives of children and families in the communities where we live and work. We do this in partnership with other charities and agencies who are specialists in their field, focused on supporting vulnerable children and families affected by abuse, domestic violence, homelessness, parental imprisonment and ill-health.

The Foundation was set up by Bright Horizons Family Solutions, a provider of high quality childcare and education, with a wealth of knowledge about children and families. Through the Bright Horizons Foundation for Children, Bright Horizons extends the reach of its expertise to vulnerable children and families in the communities where its employees live and work.

Our Bright Space® programme creates and supports enriching environments for children to play, learn, have fun and build positive relationships, in a place of safety.

In addition, we support a range of programmes that serve children and families by providing volunteers, grants, and resources.
