The Bright Space Impact
Bright Horizons Foundation for Children conducted our 2017 annual partner survey in March, to evaluate the impact of our Bright Spaces on our partners, and the children and families we collectively support. Almost half of our partners responded, from a cross section of organisations, including homeless shelters, domestic violence refuges, prisons and the police service.
We are delighted to share that 100% of the respondents said that their Bright Space impacts children and families, with 93% stating their Bright Space has a ‘major impact’. In addition 100% of our Bright Space partners are ‘very satisfied’ with their partnership with the Foundation.
We also heard in our survey that our Bright Spaces are being used in all sorts of ways to benefit children and families: for formal play therapy, one to one support for children experiencing trauma, play and relaxation for families, family visits and activities, Achieving Best Evidence interviews, family interventions, and baby bonding sessions.
We would like to say a huge thank you to you all for the part you play in making this possible through your donations and support.
